  Maffitt Named EVP/GM
  
  LIVE NATION has appointed NOAH MAFFITT to the position of EVP/GM of LIVENATION.COM. In his new position MAFFITT will oversee the transformation of LIVENATION.COM into an ecommerce consumer storefront in preparation for the company's move to control the bulk of its own ticketing in 2009. MAFFITT will report to CEO/Global Digital BRYAN PEREZ.
  "NOAH's deep experience in developing and expanding ecommerce platforms and operations make him the perfect executive to lead LiveNation.com's transformation into the leading online portal for fans to buy tickets to their favorite concerts and other products centered on the live music experience," said PEREZ.
