WNYC Settles With FCC Over Underwriting Violations

Noncommercial Talk WNYC-A and Classical WNYC-F/NEW YORK sign a Consent Decree with the FCC to settle alleged violations of the Commission's underwriting announcement rules. The alleged violations arose from announcements on behalf of KORN/FERRY INTERNATIONAL in 2003-04 that the Commission deemed advertisements. 

WNYC is making a "voulntary contribution" of $5,000 to the U.S. TREASURY as part of the Consent Decree agreement.
