Majic 102.7 Ups Joe Johnson To Mornings

LINCOLN FINANCIAL Oldies WMXJ (MAJIC 102.7)/MIAMI named Production Dir./Creative Service Dir. JOE JOHNSON to join current co-host DONNA DAVIS in mornings. JOHNSON, a 22-year station vet, also hosts the nationally syndicated "BEATLE Brunch" program.

"We had the talent in the building!" SVP/GM DENNIS COLLINS said. "Now JOE and DONNA can build a great morning show. It’s nice to promote from within. JOE brings his vast music and market knowledge to the morning show. He’s a natural fit."

"Joining DONNA DAVIS in the morning is a change for me but one I really wanted to do," Joe said. "Filling in till we found a co-host got to be fun so I applied and won the big show."
