Vernon Kelson Upped To MD At 92Q

RADIO ONE Urban WERQ (92Q)/BALTIMORE has officially promoted VERNON KELSON to MD. A BALTIMORE native, KELSON has been with the station since 2002. Starting as an intern, he moved up the ranks, taking on an air shift, then being named AMD and acting Music Director.

"I am very excited to promote KELSON as the Music Director for 92Q," PD NEKE HOWSE said. "I have worked closely with KELSON over the past six months and confident that he has the abilities to help make the station sound really, really good."

On top of his MD duties, KELSON will retain his weekend on-air shifts.
