Metcalf Wraps 6-Month WPTF Fill-In

Veteran talker GEOFF METCALF is wrapping up an extended run filling in for mornings at CURTIS MEDIA Talk WPTF-A/RALEIGH-DURHAM next week, then after one more week filling in for BILL LUMAYE in the afternoon, he'll be available for fill-in or full-time talk duties nationwide.  WPTF has tapped CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI fill-in host SCOTT FITZGERALD for mornings; FITZGERALD is the son of WLW mornig mainstay JIM SCOTT.

METCALF, who filled in on "NORTH CAROLINA'S MORNING NEWS" for six months with strong ratings gains, has ISDN capability for fill-in work anywhere. His experience includes a syndicated show and hosting at KSFO-SACRAMENTO and KSTE-A, KTKZ-A, and KPLA-A/SACRAMENTO, and his columns have appeared in several publications and on websites, including, currently, NEWSMAX.
