Newcap Flips Two To AAA

NEWCAP has flipped its recently-acquired Jazz/AC CHNR (THE BREEZE)/WINNIPEG to Adult Alternative as CAFE 100.7. The flip on MONDAY followed an all-CHRISTMAS music stunt that started on NOVEMBER 20. STEVE GREEN will serve as PD and LAURIE LANGCASTOR and LINDSEY ANDERSON will handle mornings. 

Meanwhile, NEWCAP's CIQX (103.1 FM, THE BREEZE)/CALGARY has also flipped into Adult Alternative as "CALIFORNIA 103 FM." The lineuo includes TIM TAMASHIRO in mornings, JOHN TESH's syndicated show in middays, JONATHAN LOVE in afternoons, and PD JOHN BEAUDIN moving from afternoons to weekends.
