Former Detroit Jock's Perfume-Allergy Verdict Slashed

Former INFINITY Country WYCD/DETROIT host ERIN WEBER's lawsuit verdict awarding her $10.6 million for being made ill by another host's perfume has been slashed by a judge to $814,000. 

U.S. District Judge GEORGE CARAM STEEH wrote that he considered setting aside the verdict entirely; WEBER's attorneys say they will appeal the reduction of the award. WEBER sued the station claiming that fellow jock LINDA LEE's use of a perfume caused her to have to take three medical leaves, after which she was fired. In MAY, an all-female jury made the initial award, including $7 million in punitive damages; STEEH did allow the award of attorney's fees.
