What's up at CITADEL Hot AC WYSF (94.5)/BIRMINGHAM?

The station's website simply says it's "Under Construction," and over the weekend the on-air sound was 20 to 30 Country hits, without any imaging or sweepers. If that were to hold true, then it would be the market's fourth Country outlet. ALL ACCESS thinks it's all a case of some cunning stunting.

When the smoke clears, can we say Top 40, as the logo suggests? Or, will 100.5 move to 94.5, and will SCOTT SHANNON's TRUE OLDIES find a new home in the market at 100.5? Stay tuned!

Late in the day on MONDAY (7/07), the simulcast with WJOX ended, and Country music returned. Hmmmmmmmm!
