Dave Wellington Named DC101 And Channel 104.3 PD

Wellington To Program DC & Baltimore Stations

Former CBS RADIO Alternative WBCN/BOSTON PD DAVE WELLINGTON has been named PD of CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WWDC (DC101)/WASHINGTON, DC and the newly-launched Alternative WCHH (CHANNEL 104.3)/BALTIMORE. The PD post had been vacant at DC101 since CRUZE departed almost three months ago. WELLINGTON will be in-house beginning JULY 28th.

CLEAR CHANNEL/WASHINGTON-BALTIMORE OM JEFF KAPUGI said, "We conducted an extensive search for the next PD of DC101 and in the process signed on CHANNEL 104.3 in BALTIMORE. With ELLIOT doing mornings at both stations, it was natural to combine the duties of CHANNEL 104.3 with that of the DC101 PD. We had many qualified candidates, but DAVE came across as the best fit for our needs and I know he’ll be a great addition to the stations and the CC DC/BALTIMORE cluster."
