WSBA-A Host To Run For House Of Reps

CUMULUS News/Talk WSBA-A/YORK middayer GARY SUTTON has declared his candidacy for the 196th District seat in the state House of Representatives representing PENNSYLVANIA, reports THE YORK DAILY RECORD.

SUTTON said he would be willing to forfeit his broadcasting job if he's elected. During his politically-themed show, SUTTON has frequently been critical of the state legislature -- particularly after the 2005 pay raise vote.

In light of that, SUTTON said he felt he had a certain obligation to make a bid for the office himself. "It's kind of a matter of putting your money where your mouth is," he said.
