Hilary Chambers Lands Middays At KBZT

LINCOLN FINANCIAL Alternative KBZT (FM 94/9)/SAN DIEGO has named HILARY CHAMBERS the new midday host; she starts MONDAY, JULY 14th. CHAMBERS succeeds long-time host ANYA MARINA, who signed a recording contract with CHOP SHOP RECORDS. However, ANYA will remain a member the FM 94/9 air staff in a reduced capacity.

CHAMBERS joins KBZT from crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KMYI, and has spent nine years hosting middays and afternoons on SAN DIEGO radio. "It’s hard to lose someone as talented on-air as ANYA is, but after hearing her music it’s apparent that she’s a very gifted artist and has a bright future ahead of her," KBZT PD GARETT MICHAELS said. "On the other hand, we're excited that SAN DIEGO listeners will have the opportunity to once again experience HILARY’s enthusiasm and passion for music, as she’s been a staple of rock radio in SAN DIEGO for such a long time."
