KMXP Names Amy Van Dyken For Mornings

CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KMXP (MIX 96.9)/PHOENIX AZ names AMY VAN DYKEN for morning sidekick duties joining CHRIS PARKER effective today (7/14).

VAN DYKEN is best known for winning six OLYMPIC gold medals, and in 1996, she was actually the first AMERICAN woman to win four gold medals. VAN DYKEN was most recently working at Sports/TALK KOA-A /DENVER, CO as a contributor to their afternoon show, and was a sideline reporter for the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS and the DENVER BRONCOS. She received ESPN's (ESPY) "Female Athlete Of The Year Award," was named AP's "Female Athlete Of The Year" and has been inducted into the COLORADO HALL OF FAME, and the U.S. OLYMPIC HALL OF FAME.
