Controversial longtime QUEBEC talk show host ANDRE ARTHUR has exited French AC CKNU/DONNACONNA-QUEBEC CITY and is planning to run for Parliament. ARTHUR, a critic of the dominant provincial BLOC QUEBECOIS, is running as an independent in the PORTNEUF-JACQUES CARTIER riding, according to the GLOBE AND MAIL; he told the paper that he blames the CRTC for his firing at CKNU.
