CLEAR CHANNEL DENVER President and Market Manager LEE LARSEN celebrated his 25th year in DENVER radio on AUGUST 15th, and DENVER Mayor JOHN HICKENLOOPER declared the day "LEE LARSEN DAY" in the city.
LARSEN joined KOA-A and KOAQ in 1983, when they were owned by BELO. He has served twice as President of the COLORADO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION and has been a Director of the ELWAY FOUNDATION, the NATIONAL LEUKEMIA BROADCAST COUNCIL, and the PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, and is the former Chairman of the DENVER BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA Special Needs District and the CRAIG HOSPITAL Board of Directors.
He is presently on the boards of the DENVER METRO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, DENVER METRO CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU, and DENVER BRONCOS CHARITIES, and has been honored with the COLORADO Broadcaster of the Year Award.
