  SIRIUS XM RADIO Technical Executive co-founder ROBERT BRISKMAN has been chosen as the 2008 recipient of the IEEE AESS Pioneer Award.
  BRISKMAN served as CTO/EVP, Engineering for SIRIUS and its predecessor SATELLITE CD RADIO INC. since 1991. He is being honored for the development of commercial communications and broadcast satellites over the past 40 years.
  The award will be given to BRISKMAN in BOLOGNA, ITALY during the ADVANCED SATELLITE MOBILE SYSTEMS CONFERENCE AUGUST 26th-28th.
