New Deal With Backyard

BALL STATE UNIVERSITY inks a new three-year deal with BACKYARD BROADCASTING to continue to air the school's football, men's basketball and women's basketball games on the company's INDIANA stations. Hot AC WLBC/MUNCIE will again serve as flagship for football and men's basketball, with Oldies WERK airing women's basketball. Football will also air on RAVEN BROADCASTING Sports WXLW-A (XL 950)/INDIANAPOLIS and Sports WKJG-A (ESPN 1380)/FORT WAYNE. 

The deal includes an expanded pre-game show and a weekly "RED AND WHITE" show airing on WERK MONDAY nights and hosted by MORRY MANNIES, and a new "CARDINAL TALK" show on sister Sports WXFN-A (ESPN AM 1340)/MUNCIE THURSDAYS 4-5p.

MANNIES starts his 53rd season calling CARDINALS football, with MARK O'CONNELL back as analyst and RICK JOHNSTON as sideline reporter.
