Public affairs AC music-based programming THE BEACON has joined forces with THE ARMED FORCES RADIO NETWORK (AFN) to serve AMERICAN MILITARY men and women stationed in over 177 countries, aboard US NAVY ships at sea, and civilians with the THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.
THE BEACON broadcast to a potential audience of over 800,000 each SUNDAY and is hosted by radio broadcast veteran AUSTIN HARRIS.
MCVAY MEDIA President and Consultant MIKE MCVAY commented, "The men and women of our armed forces are willing to protect our freedoms with their very lives. We are gratified and very excited that THE BEACON can reciprocate by taking a few of those freedoms of speech and religion to give back to our troops and their families by providing positive and uplifting programming and giving them spiritual fuel and entertainment to recharge their batteries."
