MIDAS/VALORY MUSIC CO./NASHVILLE group EMERSON DRIVE is set to perform tonight (9/10) at a benefit concert for GRANDE PRAIRIE REGIONAL COLLEGE in GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB (CANADA), which is lead singer BRAD MATES' hometown. The sold-out event raises money for scholarships and for a "state-of-the-art" recording studio that will be built on campus.
Tomorrow (9/11) they will be hosting the 2nd Annual BRAD MATES/E-DRIVE CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, which benefits the UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA HOSPITAL's PARKINSON RESEARCH PROGRAM.
The CMA (COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION) AWARD-nominated group (for "Vocal Group of the Year") will release a brand new single in NOVEMBER from their upcoming album to be released in 2009. For more info visit www.emersondrive.com.
