CITADEL Sports KBGG-A (ESPN RADIO 1700 THE CHAMP)/DES MOINES inks a deal to broadcast all 2008-09 IOWA CHOPS minor league hockey games. The team, formerly the IOWA STARS, was heard on the Internet last season; the team aired on KBGG before that. ALEX "CHEEKS" KYRIAS will call the action and will also host a weekly "IOWA CHOPS RADIO HOUR."

"We hope it will allow us to reach across demographic lines by working with CITADEL's diverse family of stations, and significantly increase the IOWA CHOPS fan base throughout the DES MOINES area and state of IOWA."
