SPARKNET COMMUNICATIONS has named CHUCK BORTNICK EVP of JACK-FM Radio. BORTNICK will be responsible for expanding the JACK-FM radio brand into new markets and working strategically with existing licensees. In addition, he will work in conjunction with JACK’s Radio Network partner, DIAL GLOBAL, to maximize the affiliate and revenue performance of the network.
Boasting over 30 years' experience in radio and strategic business management BORTNICK spent 13 years at METRO NETWORKS/WESTWOOD ONE, where he eventually became COO/Pres. In 2002, Chuck was named COO of WESTWOOD until APRIL 2006. He has also been VP/GM at WMMS and WHK/CLEVELAND, KKHT/HOUSTON, WSHE and WSRF/MIAMI/FT. LAUDERDALE, and most recently at WFAN New York.
