KKGO Adds Classic Country HD2; Campos Leaves On Mission Trip

MT. WILSON BROADCASTING Country KKGO (GO COUNTRY)/LOS ANGELES is launching “GO CLASSIC COUNTRY,” dedicating its HD2 signal to Classic Country. The new format will launch on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22nd with a ‘mix’ of Classic Country artists such as LORETTA LYNN and JOHNNY CASH, spanning up to stars like REBA McENTIRE and GARTH BROOKS.
“KKGO has a total commitment to country music and the country music fans in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA,” says station Pres. SAUL LEVINE. “And with Cassic Country on our HD2 channel, we’re keen to reinforce that commitment by providing our loyal listeners with even more options.”
In other news at GO COUNTRY, PD/air personality TONYA CAMPOS has left for NICARAGUA TODAY (9/18) and will return SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st. The trip is to assist a COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL project.
