Clear Channel/Colorado Sets Up Roadblock For Hurricane Victims

CLEAR CHANNEL's COLORADO stations are coming together to generate funds and resources to help the victims of HURRICANES GUSTAV and IKE, KOA/DENVER, KHOW-A/DENVER and KKZN-A/DENVER will join with stations nationwide for a special radio "roadblock" on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th at 11a MT.
The radio roadblock will be a special message aired at 11a on FRIDAY, encouraging listeners to contribute to relief efforts. In addition to the "roadblock," 850 KOA, 630 KHOW and AM760 will be airing custom messages from its on-air personalities with information on how listeners can get involved. The radio roadblock allows stations to unify for a day of giving, and is an excellent way to demonstrate the amazing power of radio in disaster relief efforts.
Besides the three AMs, also under the CLEAR CHANNEL/COLORADO umbrella are KTCL, KBCO, KPTT, KRFX and KBPI.
