WRVA Names Kitty Kinnin For Mornings

CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Hits WRVA (100.7 THE RIVER)/RALEIGH-DURHAM, NC has named KITTY KINNIN to host mornings.

KINNIN's experience includes 12 years as the midday personality and host of THE SUNDAY JAZZ BRUNCH on WRDU/RALEIGH-DURHAM, four years doing similar duties at WFXC/WFXK (FOXY 107/104)/DURHAM-TARBORO, NC, and a brief stint at CURTIS MEDIA. Most recently, KINNIN hosted a local TV show in WILMINGTON, DE, she has narrated a documentary, and also worked in Public Relations.

WRVA will also bring back THE SUNDAY BRUNCH, a three-hour weekly show devoted to Jazz, Blues, and "EVERYTHING ECLECTIC" 9a SUNDAY mornings beginning SUNDAY (9/28).

According to WRVA PD BRIAN TAYLOR, "KITTY has been on THE RIVER for only a couple weeks. It’s very apparent that a lot of RIVER listeners have been surprised and thrilled to have her back on the radio in RALEIGH. There are few people who live THE RIVER's music as much her. KITTY is an awesome addition."

KINNIN added, "I've come full circle and am now back where I belong. Radio, though, is my comfort zone. It's humbling to have such a warm welcome from so many."
