ENTRAVISION COMMUNICATIONS is about to launch "Agenda Washington," a new weekly half-hour public affairs program hosted by DANIEL GARZA. The news show will debut on all of ENTRAVISION’s owned-and-operated UNIVISION affiliates beginning SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st, and will air weekly at 8:30a ET/PT on SUNDAY.
Broadcast from the nation’s capitol and produced by ENTRAVISION, "Agenda Washington" will present an account of the week’s most pressing political news and events impacting the U.S. Hispanic community. The program will include one-on-one interviews with appointed and elected officials on the latest executive and legislative issues.
"Our exclusive focus on issues impacting the U.S. Hispanic community makes ‘Agenda WASHINGTON’ a key outlet for U.S. lawmakers and our Hispanic national leaders to address their views directly to a critical and burgeoning electoral constituency," ENTRAVISION Chairman/CEO WALTER F. ULLOA stated.
"It’s exciting to be part of a show that offers Spanish-speaking audiences political information and content that is culturally relevant, such as our focused coverage of the Latino vote in the 2008 national elections," added host and moderator DANIEL GARZA.
