KLCE PD Wayne Richards Dies In Hawaii

RIVERBEND COMMUNICATIONS AC KLCE (CLASSY 97)/IDAHO FALLS, ID PD/morning host WAYNE RICHARDS has tragically died while on vacation over the weekend with his family in HAWAII. Reportedly, he was snorkeling at the time and did not resurface.

His family was able to get him to shore and administer CPR until emergency personnel arrived. WAYNE was taken to a hospital on OAHU where doctors placed him on life support -- which was removed on SUNDAY at 10:30p.

RICHARDS, 54 at the time of his death, is survived by his wife, three children, and their families. Funeral arrangements are pending.
