NEXTMEDIA AC WXLC/WAUKEGAN, IL is facing a subpoena for tapes of a FEBRUARY 2007 broadcast in which a woman who now accuses a man of rape may have discussed their date with the defendant on the air.

Defendant TRAVIS HARVEY's lawyer GREG NIKITAS told the LAKE COUNTY NEWS-SUN that he will contact the station to get the tapes; he told the judge that the woman and his client had a discussion on the air and that she may have mentioned something going wrong with the date, which was set up by the station in a "Win a Date With TRAVIS" promotion.  The victim told the paper that they talked on the air the day after meeting at a station event, but before the date and alleged rape. 

A trial is scheduled to start MONDAY in the matter.
