Emilio And Wife Injured In Car Accident

Tejano singer EMILIO NAVAIRA and his wife MARIA were injured in a car crash in SAN ANTONIO last night (9/24) as they were returning from a physical therapy session. They were taken to UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL and both are in stable condition. 

EMILIO was seriously injured when the tour bus he was driving over EASTER weekend (NET NEWS 3/24) crashed near HOUSTON. He spent several days on life support before moving to a rehabilitation hospital, which was recently evacuated due to HURRICANE IKE. EMILIO had a blood alcohol over 0.19, more than twice the legal limit, but no charges have been filed until his mental status can be determined.
