A new theatrical production, ‘Conway Twitty, The Man, The Music -- The Legend,” that honors the life of Country music icon CONWAY TWITTY, is set to have its ‘Red Carpet Premiere,’ on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12th in NASHVILLE at TPAC (TENNESSEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER). Red Carpet arrivals will hit the scene at 6p (CT) with the musical to start at 7p (CT). The play was written and directed by RANDY JOHNSON, who also created ‘Always PATSY CLINE,’ the very successful play musical on the PATSY CLINE story.
CONWAY’s story will be told through the eyes of his children and captures his Rock n’ Roll roots, his work with partner LORETTA LYNN, to his huge chart success as a solo artist.
“CONWAY is an American musical legend and at the same time a loving family man who never forgot his humble beginnings,” said JOHNSON. “That is the truth and that is the musical I have created. I am honored and grateful to be chosen as playwright and director of the new musical. It is a high point in my career.”
Musical Director for the show is artist/singer-songwriter/producer ANITA COCHRAN, who is currently in the midst working on a solo project of her own.
