EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS says its fiscal third quarter net revenue rose 11% year-to-year to $100.5 million, with radio net revenues up 10% to $76.017 million (pro forma up 4%). The numbers don't include WRDA/ST. LOUIS and the company's TV stations (all being sold).
Operating income including discontinued operations rose from $20.9 to $25.5 million, and net income jumped from $19.805 to $197.487 million ($5.36/share), but continuing operations showed income dropping from $6.31 to $2.543 million, blamed on incerased expenses at the company's CHICAGO "turnaround properties."
