Miami Morning Host Extends Deal At WPOW

BEASLEY Top 40/Rhythmic WPOW (POWER 96)/MIAMI re-ups morning host DJ LAZ through AUGUST 2010. DJ LAZ has spent his entire 20-year radio career with WPOW. In addition to hosting the DJ LAZ MORNING SHOW, LAZ is a key figure and host of two of WPOW key events, RADIO LOLLIPOP, it's successful fundraising event for MIAMI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL and CALLE OCHO, an annual street festival that draws over one million people.

In a press release, WPOW OM/PD TOM CALOCOCCI commented on WPOW's new deal with DJ LAZ saying, "Working with a market legend like DJ LAZ makes my job easier!  With his heritage and popularity in SOUTH FLORIDA, I look forward to more good times ahead."
