Condolences to family and friends of longtime Canadian radio and TV personality and writer J.J. MCCOLL, who died SEPTEMBER 23rd of complications from ALS at 72, according to NORTHWEST BROADCASTERS.
MCCOLL hosted shows at CJOR-A and CBU-F/VANCOUVER in the 1960s and co-hosted and served as Assistant Producer of CTV's "THE JAMES BEARD SHOW." She later hosted CBC TV series "50/UP" and became a prolific writer of radio dramas for the CBC.
