Wyoming Sportscaster Larry Birleffi Dead At 90

Condolences to family and friends of former longtime UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING sports broadcaster LARRY BIRLEFFI, who died SATURDAY in CHEYENNE at 90. 

BERLEFFI called WYOMING football and basketball from 1947 through 1986. He also was a host and part-owner at KFBC-A/CHEYENNE. The press box at the school's WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM was named for BIRLEFFI in 1992; he was named to the school's Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in 1996 and the WYOMING BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION Hall of Fame in 2003.
