DANNY BONADUCE is on the short list of personalities being considered to host CBS RADIO Rock WYSP/PHILADELPHIA's morning show, writes DAN GROSS in TODAY's PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS.

The BROOMALL-born "Partridge Family" actor worked in PHILLY on EAGLE 106 in the '90s and hosts an hour-long show for sister CBS RADIO Talk KLSX/LOS ANGELES.

"I'm scared to death to say anything that CHRIS OLIVIERO and DAN MASON wouldn't want me to say," BONADUCE said, referring to top CBS RADIO execs.

However, the actor/reality-show star and amateur boxer, whose passion is radio, told THE DAILY NEWS, "If I were asked to move back to my hometown and work and a deal was cut, I would do it in a heartbeat."

WYSP PD JEFF SOTTOLANO had no comment when asked about BONADUCE.
