CBS RADIO AC KLTH (106.7 K-LITE)/PORTLAND flipped to Classic Hits as "THE ALL NEW K-HITS 106.7" today at noon. The new format features the usual blend of 60's and 70's hits by artists such as THE BEATLES, ROLLING STONES, EAGLES, BEACH BOYS, ROD STEWART, CAROLE KING, SIMON & GARFUNKEL, SONNY & CHER, and more. Call letters remain the same, and the station is being programmed and produced by crosshall sister AAA KINK PD DENNIS CONSTANTINE.
"If we could measure songs on a scale of FUN, arguably pop music from the 60’s and 70’s would tip that scale. Hit songs from those two decades came from a less complicated and happier time in AMERICA and those wonderful hits remind us how much fun life can be," commented KLTH VP/GM STAN MAK. "Our research showed that not only was there a substantial appetite for this music, but that a large number of listeners here were currently underserved by the existing radio stations, so we decided to give the people what they want!"
... we decided to give the people what they want!
