DONALD W. CURTIS' HIGH COUNTRY ADVENTURES, LLC is buying six NORTH CAROLINA stations formerly owned by AISLING BROADCASTING in a bankruptcy deal from receiver GEORGE REED for $2,325,000. The stations include Talk WATA-A/BOONE, Southern Gospel WECR-A/NEWLAND, AC WECR-F (MIX 102.3)/BEECH MOUNTAIN, Country WMMY (HIGHWAY 106.1)/JEFFERSON, Talk WXIT-A/BLOWING ROCK, and Classic Rock WZJS (100.7 MAC FM)/BANNER ELK.
CURTIS is the President of CURTIS MEDIA, the owner of several stations in the state, including a large RALEIGH-DURHAM cluster.
