CAPITOL/NASHVILLE artist TRACE ADKINS and Rock legends LYNYRD SKYNYRD will each
perform in two places this NEW YEAR'S EVE. No, this isn't some sort of magic show with DAVID COPPERFIELD, each will actually perform at THE SOMMET CENTER in NASHVILLE and in PIKEVILLE, KY.According to TODAY's (10/10) TENNESSEAN, ADKINS will open the show in MUSIC CITY, hosted by comedian KILLER BEAZ, and then immediately hop a plane to PIKEVILLE while Rockers .38 SPECIAL perform. SKYNYRD will kick things off in PIKEVILLE, then head to NASHVILLE while another act performs. Assuming all goes well, ADKINS will ring in the new year on stage in PIKESVILLE and SKYNYRD will welcome 2009 in NASHVILLE.
Tickets for the NASHVILLE portion of the show are set to go on sale OCTOBER 18th. Visit www.ticketmaster.com for information on both shows.
