Condolences to family and friends of longtime LOS ANGELES sportscaster and actor GIL STRATTON, who died SUNDAY morning at his home in TOLUCA LAKE, CA. STRATTON, 86, was a sports anchor for several decades at CBS News KNX-A/LOS ANGELES (1967-84 and 1986-97) and its sister KNXT (TV) (now KCBS-TV). He was also an actor who appeared in several movies, including "STALAG 17," and on television, where he co-starred in the 1950's sitcom "THAT'S MY BOY."
Donations in STRATTON's name are being taken by the MOTION PICTURE AND TELEVISION FUND, 23388 Mulholland Drive, WOODLAND HILLS, CA 91364.
