The NAB has appointed JANET MCGREGOR as Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Starting November 3th, MCGREGOR will oversee the financial operations and investments for the broadcaster advocacy group, and be responsible for the Conventions and Business Operations, Science and Technology, and Information Technology and Administration departments.
Prior to joining NAB, MCGREGOR worked for 26 years at LOCKHEED MARTIN, most recently as Pres./CEO of the LOCKHEED MARTIN INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT CO. "JANET's experience and abilities will greatly benefit our organization, employees and the broadcast stations and networks for which we advocate," said NAB Pres./CEO DAVID REHR. "I am looking forward to her leadership on the executive team and the guidance and expertise she brings from her years of experience in the private sector.
"Our number one priority is to be the strongest advocate for broadcasters on Capitol Hill and before the FCC and other agencies," REHR continued. "That means ensuring that NAB's resources are solid and sustaining well into the future. JANET's immense experience and financial expertise will serve the association well."
