Yep, that was DAVID LAWRENCE last night smooching the cheerleader's mom on NBC-TV's "HEROES" -- he's one of the new villains on the show this fall -- and yes, that was him on "THE UNIT" SUNDAY night, speaking in Serbian and being bribed by DENNIS HAYSBERT's character to treat a prostitute with kindness and drugs. He's on five episodes so far of "HEROES" this year, with more to come.
After a 30-year career on radio in markets from NEW YORK to SAN FRANCISCO to satellite and network, LAWRENCE retired last year from network radio. He's still doing three hours a weekend for KTRB/SAN FRANCISCO, but he's concentrating on his on-camera acting career, as he's also popping up on "CSI" and "FRANKTV" this FALL.
Want to talk to him on the air about what it's like to be a "HEROES" villain? He's available for interviews at (818) 326-7700.
