WNOU's Scotty Davis Goes Back To School ... Sorta

RADIO ONE Top 40 WNOU (RadioNOW 100.9)/INDIANAPOLIS officially wrapped up their ‘Principal for a Day’ contest this week, led by the morning host SCOTTY DAVIS. After 10 days of text voting, and nearly 1.2 million total text messages, MOUNT VERNON HIGH SCHOOL was the chosen winner and will play host to a concert this FRIDAY (10/17) from CAPITOL RECORDS act VARSITY FANCLUB.

PD TIM RAINEY tells ALL ACCESS, “There were so many text messages coming in that, at one point, it crashed our system. The buzz on the streets was fantastic. SCOTTY will get a kick outta being their principal for the day, and the kids are all amped up about seeing VARSITY FANCLUB, but the real fun will be seeing SCOTTY in an apron and hairnet serving sloppy JOE’s to the kids.” Mmmm, tasty!
