Layoffs At Entercom Nationwide

ALL ACCESS reported YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 10/15) that ENTERCOM CEO DAVID FIELD had informed the radio group through an in-house communique that to survive in the current economic downturn, ENTERCOM will be cutting back on certain things. One in particular: Matching contributions to 401(k) plans will be suspended "indefinitely with a plan to reinstate it at some point in the future, after the economy recovers."
Now in addition to the financial change, ALL ACCESS has learned of job cuts at the company.
Word is that in BOSTON upwards of 10 people are out as Talker WRKO-A middayer REESE HOPKINS is replaced by TALK RADIO NETWORK's LAURA INGRAHAM. And, WRKO-A morning producers ANDREW STECKER and RICH TETER are in need of new jobs. Word is that at WRKO & WEEI Nat'l Sales Mgr DONALD ST. SAVEUR and Marketing Dir. LAURA REIDER are displaced, and over at Active Rocker WAAF, "The Hill-Man Morning Show" producer DAVE DiGIANDO is out.
ALL ACCESS has confirmed that ENTERCOM/KANSAS CITY VP/Co-Market Mgr. HERNDON HASTY is out, as is Alternative KRBZ (96.5 THE BUZZ)/KANSAS CITY PD GREG BERGEN (913-696-1725 or gregbergen@gmail.com) and Sports KCSP-A reporter RHONDA MOSS, and word is that others in the cluster are awaiting pink slips.
Hot AC WMYX/MILWAUKEE MIKE NELSON is out and can be found at mike@mikeez.com or (414) 412-9523. Now Top 40 WXSS (103.7 KISS FM) OM/PD BRIAN V. KELLY picks up the PD duties at WMYX. Over at sister Sports WSSP, CLIFF SAUNDERS is out.

Nine people were let go in PORTLAND. The list of cuts includes Alternative KNRK morning show producer BRIAN BLAIR.
