Condolences to family and friends of longtime CLEVELAND sportscaster JACK REYNOLDS, who died early THURSDAY while recovering from heart bypass and intestinal surgery, according to FOX affiliate WJW-TV (FOX 8)/CLEVELAND. He was 71.
REYNOLDS, the father of FOX 8 sports anchor and GOOD KARMA Sports WKNR-A (ESPN 850)/CLEVELAND midday host TONY RIZZO, worked at WHK-A and WWWE-A (now WTAM-A) over the span of 30 years (1960-90), and hosted pro wrestling shows on WUAB-TV (where OHIO MEDIA WATCH notes that he served as booth announcer) and nationally with JESSE VENTURA.
