LEVI STUBBS, lead singer of the legendary '60s soul group THE FOUR TOPS, died in his sleep at his DETROIT residence. He was 72 years old.
THE FOUR TOPS, who sold millions of records, including such hits as "Baby I Need Your Loving," "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" and "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)." performed together -- without a change in personnel -- for more than four decades.
