As expected, PREMIERE's GLENN BECK is returning to the lineup at CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WTAM-A/CLEVELAND for 9a-noon weekdays starting NOVEMBER 3. BECK, who aired on WTAM until replaced by JERRY SPRINGER in MARCH 2005, has been heard in "I'm baaaaack" promos teasing the return, and now OHIO MEDIA WATCH reports that the station made the announcement on the air MONDAY, with midday host BOB FRANTZ interviewing BECK about the return. FRANTZ is moving to 7p-midnight weeknights when BECK returns.
"GLENN is one of the hardest working people in the business," said PD RAY DAVIS in a press release. "Over the past few years, Glenn has branded himself in every facet of the media. Turn on the TV and you will see GLENN, walk into a book store and there’s his work, hop on-line and connect with the show, and now turn on WTAM to hear his show daily. WTAM is extremely excited to once again have GLENN's 'fusion of entertainment and enlightenment' on the radio."
"Very little on this earth makes me happier than returning to WTAM," said BECK. "It’s a pleasure to reconnect with the station, the city, and most of all-the listeners."
BECK has been airing on ELYRIA-LORAIN BROADCASTING Talk WEOL-A/ELYRIA, which would reportedly move TALK RADIO NETWORK's LAURA INGRAHAM into BECK's present midday slot when BECK moves back to WTAM.
