Corus Extends Tender Offer, Moves Johnston To Vancouver

CORUS ENTERTAINMENT has extended its tender offer for its outstanding 8.75% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2012. The offer was originally set to expire FRIDAY at Midnight ET but will now expire JANUARY 20 at Midnight ET. So far, US$373.5 million of the notes (99.61%) have been validly tendered as of 5p ET MONDAY.
The company's radio division also announced that JIM (JJ) JOHNSTON has been moved from the GM slot at its TORONTO cluster to the same position at the company's VANCOUVER cluster, effective FEBRUARY 28.
