CURTIS HIGH SCHOOL in UNIVERSITY PLACE will be the site of a performance by the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS' BLUE THUNDER drum line on FRIDAY (10/24) after the school won a contest held by BONNEVILLE Talk KIRO-A-F/SEATTLE. The contest on LUKE BURBANK's "TOO BEAUTIFUL TO LIVE" evening show asked schools to submit audio of their bands playing the show's theme song, BEN LEE's "CATCH MY DISEASE." A listener vote followed, and LEE visited the show to announce the winner on OCTOBER 10.
51,672 votes were cast online by TBTL listeners in a four-day period, and CURTIS got 45.6% of the votes.
