JOURNAL Talk WTMJ-A/MILWAUKEE weekend "MONEY TALK" financial show host BOB LANDAAS exits, and he tells the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL-SENTINEL's TIM CUPRISIN that he's leaving because the station has replaced the "PLANT DOCTOR" show with what he considers a paid infomercial, the syndicated "MUTUAL FUND SHOW."
"I didn't want to be associated with that," LANDAAS told CUPRISIN. "I'm the head of a $2 billion investment firm. Trust is what we offer. Once you have ethical issues like that, you have to stand up and draw a line." The station says that the new addition is not an infomercial and has a similar ad sales model to LANDAAS' show.
