B95.1/Panama City Flips, Shuffles Ownership

The Oldies Are Coming

BAY BROADCASTING AC WBPC (B95.1)/PANAMA CITY, FL is flipping to Oldies with a Beach Music emphasis, reports the PANAMA CITY NEWS HERALD. The change is accompanied by the sale of Managing Partner CHARLIE SHAPIRO's interest in the station to partner DICK ROBINSON, giving ROBINSON 100% control of the station, and the arrival of former MEDIAGENERAL Regional Interactive Division Manager DAVID SWAIM as GM. 

A note from SHAPIRO on the station's website says that he is selling his shares to allow him to spend his time in the BOSTON area with his family and running his MASSMEDIA, INC. business.
