BLUE RIDGE BROADCASTING Contemporary Christian WMIT (106.9 THE LIGHT)/BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC ended its annual Sharathon, raising $1.3 million in two days. Ten percent of all support monies received will be directed to WMIT sister station that reaches NORTH AFRICA and the MIDDLE EAST with Christian music and teaching in Arabic.
"Sharathon was a testament to our LORD's provision in that listeners gave so generously while all the country, and our region especially, was abuzz with the bleakest economic predictions in 70 years," said Executive Director JIM KIRKLAND.
