UMG Nashville Announces Changes

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP (UMG)/NASHVILLE Chairman LUKE LEWIS and Sr. Vice President ROYCE RISSER have announced the following appointments, effective immediately. 

VAN HAZE, Dir./Southeast Promotion for MERCURY, has been named VP/National Promotion for MCA. HAZE will be reporting directly to ROYCE RISSER. “VAN has quickly proven to all of us that he is deserving of this position. His creativity, genuine nature, and constant desire to win make him a perfect leader for this staff. MCA is in good hands,” says RISSER.

Concurrently, BRUCE SHINDLER is appointed to VP/Field Promotion for UMG. BRUCE will be working directly with all radio consultants for the labels as well as handling the Southeast for MERCURY. “BRUCE is an integral part of this entire team and we are proud to have him. I feel that we can best utilize his skills given this structure. His relationships run deep and he knows this business well. He is more than ready to take on this new role for Team UMG.”
